Everyday rental operations
Everything a rental business needs to quote, approve, move, collect, and return items with less confusion.
Louer is built for businesses renting chairs, halls, decor, equipment, fashion pieces, vehicles, tools, and other assets. It gives owners one place to see what is available, what has been reserved, what is with customers, who has paid, what is late, and what staff changed.
Inventory controlTrack rentable and non-rentable assets, grouped quantities, individually tagged items, low stock, damaged items, missing items, and online visibility.
Date availabilityCheck bookings by date so customers can request items for future dates even when those items are currently out.
Rentals and invoicesCreate multi-item rentals, add fees, deposits, discounts, delivery miles, handling, setup, and generate professional invoices.
Payments and receiptsRecord full or part payments, payment method, outstanding balance, and convert invoices into receipts when payment is confirmed.
Handoffs and returnsRecord preparing, out for delivery, with customer, partial returns, late returns, damaged items, missing items, and return notes.

Louer Marketplace
A discovery space for people who want to rent, and a new customer channel for rental businesses.
Businesses choose which items appear publicly. Customers can browse rental items across businesses, find what they need, and send an availability request. The business still confirms the date, item condition, quantity, delivery needs, and payment instructions before the order becomes final.
Explore Louer Marketplace
Inventory
Know what you own, what is rentable, and what should stay offline.
Track grouped quantities like 500 chairs, or individual assets like AC-001 and AC-002. Mark items as for rent, not for rent, online, offline, available, damaged, or missing. Low-stock alerts help teams catch shortages before a booking becomes a problem.
Bookings
Reduce double bookings with date-aware availability.
Louer checks existing rentals against the requested start and return dates. A chair can be unavailable today but still available for a later event, because the system looks at the actual dates instead of only the current shelf status.
Approvals
Let customers request online without forcing instant payment.
Online customers can submit requests, but the business stays in control. Staff can confirm availability, damaged items, in-store demand, delivery needs, and buffer periods before approving payment.
Money
Invoices, receipts, balances, fees, deposits, and profit in one place.
Create invoices, collect part payments, convert invoices to receipts, add handling fees, refundable caution fees, delivery mileage, discounts, and expenses so the owner can see what the business is really making.
Operations
Track movement from reservation to return.
Handoff tools show whether items are reserved, preparing, out for delivery, with the customer, partially returned, damaged, missing, or fully returned. Late returns and incomplete returns can be recorded with notes.
Control
Owners decide what staff can see and change.
Permissions can protect sensitive actions like exporting data, deleting records, changing item prices, editing expenses, approving orders, and managing settings. Activity logs help owners see important changes.
Louer platform policy
Acceptable Use Policy
Louer is a SaaS platform for rental businesses. The public directory helps customers discover rental businesses and send enquiries, but Louer does not hold customer rental funds, operate wallets, or settle payments to vendors.
Permitted useBusinesses may use Louer to manage lawful rental operations, inventory, customers, staff, invoices, receipts, handoffs, returns, expenses, and public rental enquiries.
Public listingsBusinesses are responsible for the accuracy, legality, safety, price, availability, and condition of items they choose to publish on Louer public pages or the Louer directory.
Prohibited activityLouer must not be used for illegal, deceptive, unsafe, stolen, counterfeit, restricted, harmful, offensive, regulated, or rights-infringing products, services, or transactions.
Financial limitsLouer does not provide escrow, wallets, stored balances, lending, remittance, currency exchange, betting, investment, or money-transfer services.
Documents and privacyBusinesses should only request customer documents they truly need for a rental and must handle IDs, receipts, contracts, and uploaded documents responsibly.
EnforcementLouer may hide listings, restrict marketplace visibility, suspend access, or remove accounts that misuse the platform or create risk for customers, businesses, Louer, or payment providers.
Rental delivery and pickup
Delivery and Fulfilment Policy
Louer is not a fulfilment centre. Rental businesses remain responsible for confirming availability, preparing items, delivery, pickup, setup, collection, and customer communication.
Business responsibilityEach rental business manages its own delivery, pickup, setup, installation, venue access, collection, and logistics arrangements with its customer.
Order confirmationPublic requests are enquiries until the rental business approves availability and shares next steps. Customers should not treat a request as confirmed until the business confirms it.
Delivery chargesBusinesses may charge delivery, pickup, mileage, handling, setup, caution deposit, or other fees. These fees should be shown clearly before payment is requested.
Customer pickupIf customer pickup is selected, the business is responsible for sharing pickup address, pickup time, identification requirements, handoff terms, and return instructions.
Delays and changesIf delivery, pickup, setup, or return timing changes, the rental business should inform the customer quickly and update the rental record where possible.
Louer roleLouer provides software records for requests, invoices, handoffs, returns, damages, and messages. Louer does not physically store, deliver, install, inspect, or collect rental items.
Rental returns and disputes
Returns, Refunds, and Disputes Policy
Rental refunds, cancellations, caution deposits, damage deductions, and late-return charges are handled by the rental business according to its own terms and applicable consumer protection rules.
Rental business termsEach business should communicate its cancellation, refund, return, damage, replacement, late-return, and caution-deposit terms before requesting payment.
Customer cancellationsCancellation outcomes depend on the business terms, timing, work already done, item reservation, delivery preparation, and any reasonable cancellation charges disclosed to the customer.
Returns and inspectionBusinesses may inspect returned items and record full returns, partial returns, late returns, damaged items, missing items, notes, and supporting documents in Louer.
Caution depositsRefundable deposits are managed by the rental business. Any deductions for damage, loss, cleaning, late return, or incomplete return should be documented and explained to the customer.
Customer disputesCustomers should first contact the rental business that accepted the rental. Louer may review platform misuse, unsafe listings, support reports, or repeated complaints about a listed business.
Louer subscription refundsRefunds for Louer software subscriptions are separate from customer rental refunds and are handled through Louer support according to the Louer billing policy.
